Ruppertshain expat

 Hi

Are there any other English speaking expats in Ruppertshain? (a small Stadtteil from Kelkheim).

Born in UK and have been living here since 2013, built a house overlooking the valley on the Fussweg/footpath to (eventually) the Rettershof.

Occasionally hear English voices - some native, some not so native :-)

Sunny Home Manager Home Connect FlexStart and EEBUS

By happy co-incidence I got both a new (internet enabled) dishwasher installed and Photovoltaik on my roof. My model is a Siemens: SX758X46TE I was happy with the internet features called "Home Connect" (or "HomeConnect" with "FlexStart"). I can start the dishwasher and hand control to the app - then I can remotely start the dishwasher when I want to. Why? Because I can monitor my solar remotely and I can see when the battery is full and choose to start the dishwasher at the best time. But what if the Solar could automatically do it? I did not imagine that this was possible but the more I read about this Remote Start the more I discovered that it indeed was possible and also already works with the "Sunny Home Manager 2.0" that I have at home.
